Barre

Xtend Barre classes incorporate elements of dance, ballet and Pilates to create an adrenaline-fueled workout that strengthens, lengthens and chisels the body. Each class features an elegant yet energetic combination of movements that enhance flexibility, improve balance, and challenge the core. No prior Pilates experience or dance training required. Just be ready to sweat! Also available as a 45 Xpress class and a slower paced Technique class

HIIT

Boot camps made fun! This high energy HIIT class is made up of 7-minute drills, programmed to build strength, burn calories and test your limits! No experience required and suitable for all fitness levels

Antigravity Intro

INTRO TO ANTIGRAVITY is the perfect introduction to the original AntiGravity Fitness.  In this class, you will learn the correct grips, wraps and fundamental techniques that will allow you to experience the zero-compression inversion that AntiGravity Fitness is so famous for.  It is essential that 4 INTRO TO ANTIGRAVITY classes are completed before advancing onto the other AntiGravity programs (with exception to AG Cocoon)   The focus is on Fun and Safety. MELT

FitBall

Find those deep stabilizing core muscles in this balance and stability class that utilises large Swiss Balls. Flow of movement, lengthening, and conditioning are also added for a fun twist to your training. Available at all studios

Barre Stick

The use of a Pilates stick apparatus adds resistance to Xtend Barre signature moves to chisel and sculpt the body. An advanced class suitable for clients who have attended at least 5 Xtend Barre classes and are looking for that extra challenge!

Antigravity Yoga

Get off the mat and into the air! The Harrison Antigravity Hammock takes your yoga practice to the next level while safely supporting and lengthening your spine and body. A great way to build strength before taking regular yoga classes, or to explore 3 dimensional space for regular yoga practitioners. Clients must attend 4 Intro classes before joining AntiGravity Yoga to become familiar with the Harrison AntiGravity Hammock Available at UP On The Terrace

TRX

A small group TRX suspension training class that offers 45 minutes of full body strength work that’ll whip anyone (not just Navy Seals) into shape! Available at UP Wellington and UP Petone

Dynamic Mat Pilates

Progressing Ballet Technique

Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative program that utilises fitballs and therabands to assist students in training muscle memory and strength, allowing them to achieve their personal best in classical ballet. This class runs as a drop Open Adult class on our timetable as well as term workshops for younger dance students.
